A few weeks ago, right before her birthday, Syona's teachers in the Blue room asked Shilpa and I to try to make it to school on a Friday afternoon because they had a surprise. We knew that Syona was making her transition into the 2 year old room for the week, and thought that they just wanted to have us come and do a small birthday and moving to the next class celebration. The day of, we walked into a full out graduation party with processional music in background and blue gowns/graduation caps with tassles and all (that the teachers made with love). It was really cute in that they had a viewing crowd with little kids in the class sitting nicely into their eating chairs (they are each between 14-23 months old mind you) listening to the ceremonial speeches that Ms. Claudia, Ms. Violetta, and Ms. Elena all wrote where they personalized for each of the two graduates, Syona and Marco. It was so well planned that they had cupcakes spelling out congratulations and goodie bags for the graduates. We spend almost 2 hours there socializing with teachers, other parents/grandma, and the owner Mrs. Maria. This event in itself made the monthly fees for the year to mydreamacademy well worth it as it makes us realize just how much these teachers are involved with their children and creating in the arts for their kids.

What a great story. Congratulations, Syona! And congratulations to Mama and Daddy!
