This year my family was in India during the holidays. Of course we missed them dearly but it was also nice to celebrate xmas morning with just me, paul and syona. On xmas eve morning, paul, syona and I made her first gingerbread house. She was super excited to see all the candy and of course tried a whole bunch before placing it on the house. haha. We then went to Roi's new loft in the city and celebrated xmas eve just like we used to in the good old days. It was really fun and Uncle Kevin made a decadent meal that we all enjoyed. Syona received enough gifts to cover a small country, which we are very thankful for. Thank you all. That night we put Syona play kitchen under the tree with a bow on it that we built two days before. We also put her other gifts "santa" got her like a boo doll, dishes for her kitchen, "pretty pretty" (tutu),sweatshirt, princess stickers, princess silly bandz, beauty and the beast dvd- All stuff she asked for from Santa :) The "pretty pretty" she made up on her own which is cute. We let her open her stocking first that contained her stickers and then she didn't want to open anything else because she was so busy putting all the stickers on her left hand- one of her favorite past time activities. We watched Beauty and the Beast while she played with stickers and then had some lunch and then continued the gift opening. We got the little baby a blanket and a new outfit that syona opened and placed inside my shirt close to my tummy. super sweet. At night we went to Rupal Masi'a house and the kids played together. Nikita Masi's kids were there as well so it was fun for Syona to play with all her cousins. The next day we went to Faiba's house and saw everyone again- that week Syona was naming off rupal masi, karina baby, milan, bhabhu, faiba, fua, really interesting how she gets attached so fast.
